Summary
ClickDaDaDa does not require an account in the Google Play edition. It does not show advertising, sell personal data, or use advertising trackers. Basic Scripts and their gesture coordinates are stored on your device and are not uploaded by the app.
Script data stored on your device
The app stores scripts you record or import, including script names, tap and swipe coordinates, delays, repeat settings, and local creation metadata. It also stores app preferences, permission disclosure consent, and the script currently selected for playback.
This information remains in the app's private storage. It leaves the device only when you explicitly use the export function and then choose where to send or save the exported file. The Google Play edition disables Android app backup for this data. Uninstalling the app normally removes its private local data, although device-vendor transfer behavior may be controlled separately by the device platform.
Information sent to the ClickDaDaDa service
The app sends a low-frequency operational heartbeat over HTTPS so it can receive compatibility, availability, and upgrade policy information. The heartbeat contains:
- a random installation identifier generated by the app;
- package name, app version, version code, build channel, channel code, and signing certificate hash;
- Android version, device manufacturer and model, language, and time zone; and
- the reason for the heartbeat, such as app start or foreground use.
The installation identifier identifies an app installation, not an IMEI or advertising identifier. The signing certificate hash identifies the app signing certificate, not your device. These reports do not contain script contents, gesture coordinates, screenshots, or the contents of other apps.
Standard server security logs may also contain the request time, network address, and technical error details. We use this information for app security, release compatibility, service reliability, abuse prevention, and support. We retain it only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes and legal obligations.
The service also stores a hash of the network address and uses heartbeat records to produce operational statistics, including active installations and app version and distribution-channel usage. Installation identifiers and network-address hashes are pseudonymous, not completely anonymous: they can link records associated with an installation. We do not use them for advertising profiles.
Heartbeat records include the server receipt time, report date, number of reports for an installation on that date, and the matched version-policy decision. These records help us understand app-version adoption and investigate compatibility and update issues. They are not a log of individual script actions or button presses.
Heartbeats are attempted when the app starts or returns to the foreground, subject to the reporting interval. They are independent of accessibility permission; declining or disabling the accessibility service does not disable operational reporting.
Information you provide when contacting support
If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any diagnostics or attachments you choose to include. We use this correspondence to respond to your inquiry, investigate the reported issue, and handle privacy requests. Please do not send passwords, payment details, or other information that is not needed for your request.
Android permissions and special access
Accessibility service
After an in-app disclosure and your affirmative consent, ClickDaDaDa can use Android's AccessibilityService to perform the deterministic taps and swipes in a script that you recorded and explicitly started. The Google Play edition does not use this service to retrieve window content or take screenshots. It does not upload screen content, gesture coordinates, or scripts.
Display over other apps
Overlay access lets the app show a visible recording or playback control above the target app. Recording and playback begin from an explicit action on these controls.
Notifications and foreground operation
Notification and foreground-service access keep user-started recording or playback visible and controllable while another app is on screen. Battery settings may affect whether Android allows those operations to continue.
Sharing and third parties
We do not sell or rent information. We may use infrastructure providers to operate the heartbeat service, or disclose information when required by law, to protect users, or to investigate security and abuse. Google processes information relating to Play distribution under Google's own terms and privacy policy.
Infrastructure providers process service records on our behalf. Support correspondence is processed through the provider of our support mailbox. The provider's own privacy terms also apply to its services.
Your choices and deletion requests
You can decline the accessibility disclosure, disable the accessibility service, remove overlay access, delete individual scripts, clear app storage, or uninstall the app. These actions may prevent recording or playback from working.
Deleting scripts, clearing app storage, or uninstalling removes local data but does not automatically delete records already held by the service. Exported files remain in the location you selected and must be deleted separately.
To request access to or deletion of operational service records associated with your installation, email us with enough information to identify the installation and request. We may need to verify the request before acting on it.
Security, children, and policy changes
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure. ClickDaDaDa is a general-purpose automation utility and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy when the app or legal requirements change; the publication date above will be revised when that happens.
